Sabbath Home Baptist Church is affiliated with the Brunswick County Baptist Association, the Baptist Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

We are a conservative church with a blended style of worship. We believe in the inerrancy of the Scriptures and that there is only one way to salvation and that is through accepting Jesus as Savior and Lord. We fully endorse the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message and it's revision in 2000.

We are a friendly congregation located just a mile from beautiful Holden Beach, North Carolina in southern Brunswick County.

Our Pastor is Rev. Mark Perko (pastormark@atmc.net). He holds the Bachelor of Theology degree from The Baptist College of Florida, as well as the Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He has pastored churches in North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. He has preached revivals in 7 states, and has led overseas mission teams to Brazil, Bolivia, Nicaragua, and three trips to the eastern European country of Poland. He has a love for children and has a balloon ministry that reaches many kids with the gospel. He is innovative in evangelism techniques and truly loves his flock. Rev. Perko is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. He is married to his wife, Sara, of 27 years and has two married children, Jessica, and her husband Justin who is on staff at the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA;  and Mark Jr. (Senior Airman, USAF), and his wife Sara Rose. Mark Jr. is stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, TX. Let's keep all our military and their families in our prayers.

Our Custodian is Mrs. Tina Roberts.  She is an important part of our staff here at Sabbath Home.  Tina works hard to keep our worship facilities beautiful. She is an active member of Sabbath Home, and is involved in various activities within the church. She currently serves as our GA Director and Youth Director. She is married to  Virgil and they have three children - Brooke, Courtney, and Jonathan.        

We have deacons that are actively involved in our church.  They participate in a family ministry, that enables them to work together with our Pastor to better meet the needs of our congregation.  Our board of deacons in active service are: Mr. James Caison (Chairman), Mr. Curtis Todd (Vice Chairman),  Mr. Ken Caison, Mr. Wayne Day, Mr. Herman Faircloth, and Mr. Jack Stone.
